Outside of wine, the wedding and event business was an important revenue driver for Mahana. Mahana was the premier wedding destination at the Top of the South of New Zealand. Special attention was paid to evolve the look and feel of the brand to speak to this consumer. The Royal Visit

The most significant event ever produced at Mahana was the Royal Tour of Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla. The event took six months of planning and was a showcase of winemaking in New Zealand, as well as the greater Nelson region and the Seafood and fruit basket of Australasia. It was a great honor for Mahana to be selected for the Royal Tour.
