L'acquaviT
In December of 2010 I made the decision to follow a dream and launch my own swimwear collection. The concept was the idea of melding swimwear design with jewelry. The fabrics and trims I sourced were the best the industry had to offer. The launch of my collection was at the Miami Swim show, a juried trade show, in July of 2011. After the launch of the collection I put it on hold, yet the lessons I learned from this journey have informed my other career pursuits.
The collection is offered in a variety of mix and match silhouettes giving women an opportunity to tailor the fit to their body and feel beautiful in swimwear. L’acquavit uniquely offers the option to customize your swimwear with interchangeable jewelry-inspired trims & additional jewelry. Mix and match the jewelry to create a new look each time you wear the suit, and the jewelry is sophisticated enough to wear on its own.
Fabrics
L’acquavit used the finest materials and trims available imported from Italy and manufactured in the USA. The Sensitive fabrics are chlorine resistant, quick drying, and offer 50+ UPF protection. It incorporates Xtra Life Lycra for lasting durability and comfort.
Jewelry Trims
The jewelry and jewelry-inspired trims were nickel free to reduce environmental impact and allergic reactions to metal. Additionally, the metal alloy will not get hot in the sun and is chlorine and salt water resistant.

The materials are manufactured with a profound sensitivity to the environment and resource consumption.
